To learn from gaming's past, present, and future to craft better, more meaningful gameplay experiences.

I am a graduate of Columbia College Chicago with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Game Programming with a minor in Game Design. I specialized in working in Unity utilizing the C# programming language with a focus on gameplay programming and design. In my spare time I play a vast set of video games, both for entertainment as well as research for well designed and poorly designed mechanics to replicate or modify to suit my own creative needs. I will often research strategies or notes from other observant players or developers to gain a better understanding of the systems I observes while playing as a means to understand a mechanic further and observe how others with different perspectives may interact with it. Outside of gaming I have a sizable interest in both psychology and animals, to better understand life, both our own and others. Currently I'm working on both a private, game project of my own design as well as serving as both a game design consultant and programmer to a small scale indie studio working on their first game.
